We booked this trip a little while ago arriving late on the 7th and leaving early on the 11th of November. We are staying at RPR so we have EP, however we are a little concerned because it appears all three of the premium hotels are fully booked. Is this going to mean that the parks will be really crowded and the EP lines will be long? Is there anything we should do strategically to help ensure we can see as many rides as possible? Thanks!

It may be convention guests that are taking up the rooms.....I know there is a large convention while we are there in December and it’s also fully booked. Conventions still come over weekends too.

You’ll be fine with EP.

Familiarise yourself with the parks, have a rough idea of where everything is.......if you like to take advantage of EE then that’ll be a little quieter in the Potter area, but otherwise, take advantage of the EP. It’s worth its weight in gold.

Have a great trip........

It's a holiday weekend, so it may be busy, but you will be 100% fine with EP. If you are interested in Hagrid's, do a rope drop, arrive an hour before open. Otherwise, enjoy.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the reassurance (I didn’t realize it was an american holiday weekend either). I was probably just having a last minute panic attack as we have never done this type of quick trip before!

Also and off topic, I have enjoyed reading your trip reports Schumigirl!

It’s also NJ Teachers Convention weekend so all public schools are closed on Thursday and Friday this week. I’ve heard it’s called Jersey Week in Orlando because so many NJ families go to Disney and Universal this week. Count me among them. We’ll be there Thursday through Monday!
