DH and I are getting away for the day and going up to MK. :cool1: I've never been at this time of year. What kind of crowds are we looking at? What kind of wait times? We plan on leaving here about 5:15am so we can get there before it opens...so that way we can get a FP for BTMR and get in line for SM right away. Do the parks typically fill up these days?

Also have there been anymore "soft openings" of Soarin'?

According to my guide, it says "crowd level 4". That is 4 out of 10. I hope it's going to be pleasant, as we will be there also! Epcot on Sat, MK on Sunday! :wave2:

I think early in the day you'll be fine. Please let us know what happens. :earsboy:

We were at MK all day today and were pleasently surprised that the crowds and wait time for rides were very manageable. We only had to use fast pass once each for space mountain and splash mountain. The rest of the rides, the most we waited was 10-15 minutes max. We rode everything we wanted no problem!

The weather will be 80 and sunny. The rain clears out by tomorrow. Get there early and you will get on quite a few rides until around noon. You will also get to ride a lot late in the day. We got there at 8 at night last Saturday and rode 10 rides in 3 hours. We did great early last Sunday morning. In the afternoon, though, it was crowded in Toontown and in the area around Ariel's Grotto. Have fun.

It was great! The purpose for this trip was to get me over my fear of thrill rides. We left home about 5:45 and were in line to get into the park right at 9am. We went straight to SM and BTMR hardly passing another person on the way there. It was WONDERFUL! We rode both of those 2 times, walked on them, no wait. I loved them and am getting over my fear...next step is Rockin' Rollercoaster. :earseek: Then we walked over to SpM and it was about a 15 minute. wait. We rode that and I wanted to do it again but the wait was a little longer and we wanted to get out of there and go to Epcot because it was getting crowded. So we hopped the monorail to EP and got FP for Test Track. Then we walked around WS and ate at Rose and Crown and rode ride in Norway. Then we finished walking around WS went to do our FP and then walked around The Living Seas. Then we left and wanted to go to AK. So we went back to MK got a bus for AK and when we got there the sign said that Dinosoar was 30 min. So we went and it was only like 15 min. Then we went to Kali and walked right on that. Didn't get soaked and went to ITTBAB then we went back to MK got our van and went home. We got home by 10. The way we played our day out we never had ANY crowds. It was PERFECT! We walked 10 miles. :teeth:
