I am looking at going back to Disney either the week before presidents day and doing Disney and then the following week doing smaller attractions or just doing one week at the end of Jan. How are the crowds the week before and when do they start creeping up for presidents week?

Thanks

Traditionally, Jan and Feb are the months of the National Cheerleading competitions. You may keep checking www.varsity.com for the dates for next year and try and plan around that. Crowds seem to start building a full week before President's Weekend. We were leaving on Feb 6th and found MGM way crowded on our last visit (cheerleaders and families, the other parks could've been fine).

We went Jan 28th-Feb 6th and it was not crowded at all. Perfect time to go..It was cool a few days, but still pleasant.

We went last year the week before president's day and it was fine - very light crowds. But, beware....by the weekend it started picking up big time. By Saturday (the Sat. before President's day) it was absolutely INSANE. The entire Northeastern Seaboard was there because of Winter Break. Insane insane insane. We went July 4th week the same year and it wasn't 1/2 as crowded.

We were there this year the week before President's week. We went to MK on Tuesday and Wednesday and had no trouble at all. We did Epcot on Friday and Saturday. We avoided the EMH parks. You will be fine as long as you do MK early in the week!
