How bad are the crowds starting around Dec. 20 till Dec. 26? Want to surprise the family with a trip to WDW. We have been in late July and week after school lets out in June in past. So we have dealt with crowds and heat! Please tell me it is better than that.

Have been several times this time of year and LOVE it. Around December 17th the crowds start building and get a little larger every day. Christmas Day is by far the most crowded...we usually use that day to resort hop or see shows, as the rides have 2+ hour waits.
Still would recommend this time of year, but with a crowd disclaimer attached.
