Thanksgiving is early this year - Nov. 22. SO.... that means that there will be an entire week the end of November after the Thanksgiving holiday. Just curious as to what the crowds would be like.......:)

I think I posted this question in the wrong forum.......:confused3 As I was wondering if the crowds at the parks would be more or less than the first week of December.

You probably would get a lot more responses on the Theme Parks board, but I'll tell you that we've been to Disney the week after Thanksgiving the last two years & the crowds are pretty low. Plus, the weather is generally very nice. It's a great time to go, and we'll be there again this year. :thumbsup2

so do you think the Sunday after Thanksgiving is good time to visit MK or shall we pick a different park?

We arrive the day after Thanksgiving on Friday & on Saturday since im sure crowds will still be on the high side we will just relax, expore our resort AOA, then have an ADR at Chef Mickeys for dinner then start of Sunday early but having a hard time chosing which park?:confused3

On Saturday, the most crowded parks will be MK (one last trip before everyone goes home) and DHS (for the Osbourne Family of Lights).

Both Saturday and Sunday, the best park to visit is AK. After Sunday, everything drops off until the Christmas parade taping. However, you can still get into MK; just take the train around to Frontierland, go around the perimeter of the park and then take the train back to Main Street before 2 p.m. or so, when the crowds from the parade taping spill out into the parks after they are done.

The first week in December, the crowds will be building more and more in the evening, since it is Pop Warner week.

As teams lose their round, they tend to go more into the parks. By week's end, when the tournament is done, the parks will be somewhat busy.

The week after Thanksgiving is our favorite time to go! Always low crowds & usually very nice weather. Plus the beautiful Christmas decorations are up. I make a point not to go to the parks on the Sunday after T-giving though, I've always found them to be crowded, but Monday it empties out.
