Crowds-thanksgiving vs Christmas

We have made several trips to Disneyworld with the kids and grandkids arriving the Thursday before thanksgiving and leaving the Wednesday before thanksgiving. Crowds were not too bad Thursday thru Saturday. But increasing rapidly Sunday thru Tuesday.
How would the crowds before and after Christmas and New Years compare for a trip in 2019. Have to visit around grandkid’s school holidays.

The week of Christmas and NY are the MOST crowded time of year. The 2nd week of Dec is a bit better but still pretty crowded. Christmas day, MK is often closed due to being at capacity. That will give you a hint to how the crowds are that week.
