We are planning on going to EPCOT on Thanksgiving Day this year. I am interested to hear people's opinions about this in regards to crowds. I understand it will be crowded, but how crowded? Comperable to Christmas crowds? Thanks in advance for your input!

We are doing Epcot an Thanksgiving Day too ! I just thought it might be the least crowded or able to handle large crowds better. Hope I'm not wrong.

Yeah I hope that's the case. We are planning on spending most of our time in the World Showcase because that's what we love to do so hopefully it works out.

Put us on the doing Epcot on Thanksgiving Day list. We're having turkey dinner at the Rose & Crown. I can't help with your original question because I've never been on Thanksgiving before. Hope its not unbearable.

We're heading over to AK on Thanksgiving before our dinner at HDDR. After HDDR, not sure maybe DTD, or hang out at the Poly to watch the fireworks.

I know where I won't be......MK!

I was thinking on starting at MK because they open the eariliest and then hoping to Epcot. Am I crazy to even try MK?

We will be at Studios during the evening. Don't know where we will be before 4 PM, and frankly don't really care where we will go :thumbsup2 .

Can't answer the other question.

I was also planning on being there for Thanksgiving next year. I have heard that it is better then x-mas time. I was thinking we would eat dinner at LTT in MK. That is probably a bad idea! I just hope it is not as bad as New years eve, that was a nightmare!

We were there Thanksgiving 2 years ago and it was busy- I don't think we're talking Easter or Xmas, but deffinately crowded. I'd expect 80 to 100 min waits at least for rides.

We were at WDW on T-day a few years ago. Here what we did:
Entered AK at 9 Am as it opened. There were many people waiting. We went to the animal training session show for Pocohantas, then saw the regular Pocohantas show. Walked out of the park at 11Am.
Took a break at our hotel and then entered MGM at 2 PM. Did Playhouse Disney, the One Man's Dream exhibit and movie, saw the parade, had dinner an watched Fantasmic. After the show(6:30) we went straight to MK to see Mickey's Twas the Night Before Christmas(7:45). We started to leave but got cought near the castle as wishes started and could not leave b/c of the crowds and no light to see our way around all the people . You could not move. we finally walked out at 9:10. That was our last park day.
The day before T-day was crowded tooby mid morning. We were at MK from 8-10:30 and did 7 rides,. As we left, there were so many people coming in. We went back to our hotel and then to Typhoon Lagoon for the afternoon.
Sorry, I could not help you with Epcot. We were there the Tues. before, the crowds weren't that bad.

Hope you like fastpass because that will be your best friend. Do they do fastpasses for bathrooms yet? :thumbsup2
