We are thinking of traveling to the world on Thanksgiving weekend. I know the crowds will drop off quite a bit starting Monday, but is there still many people who continue their vacation on after the holiday? We've been before 2 weeks after and the crowds were very light, just wondering how the week immediately after compares to 2 weeks after and if it's a noticeable difference. Thanks.

We went last Thanksgiving from the Friday after to the first Saturday in December... The crowds at MK on the Monday after were just fine... we had the longest wait of 20 mins at Jungle Cruise the rest were pretty much walk on or 5-10 min wait... I would love to go back at this time again!!

That's exactly when we went last year. It's a perfect time to go. We did Sea World the Saturday after Thanksgiving & Islands of Adventure the Sunday after. We found both to be very managable. We saved the WDW parks for the week after. It was wonderful!!!! Very low crowds. All the Christmas Decorations were up. You can't miss the Osbourn Light show at MGM as well as MVMCP at MK :) I would LOVE to go back this time of year again.

We've also done the week after thanksgiving and just loved it. we went the Tuesday after thanksgiving for a week and it was perfect. The crowds were very light.

IMHO it's the best time to go!

Back in 1994 we went from the Saturday after until the following Saturday, and the crowds do die down. I would recommend going at this time in a heartbeat! Wish i could do it again (but can't. b/c of my part time job).
