Crowds starting Nov 2nd after HHN & Fall Discounts????

We are in the process of planning a trip from Nov 1st to Nov 5th to visit both parks. Staying at Cabana Bay. We have not been to Universal since Diagon Alley was opened.
I know the last party is Nov 1st so the park may close a little earlier, but I figure we can go to dinner at Margaritaville that evening. The flight I am looking at gets us to Orlando by 1pm so we may have a few hours in the parks.

Just wondering how crowds are in the weeks following all the popular Halloween events. We won't have front of the line, but we will get in an hour early.

Should I book now or wait for a fall discount to come out??? The price is not bad compared to Disney , but no current promo.

We do plan to take a day and go over to Disney for Food and Wine at Epcot too....

So excited to get back to Universal and see all the new Harry Potter stuff.

the studios will close at 5 and ioa will close either 7 or 8:00 pm.
if you have a park to park ticket, you could start at the studios when you arrive and then hit ioa for the rest of the time.
if your flight arrives at orlando at 1, you could possibly be in the parks around 2 that day.

i would book room only now and modify your room rate if rates drop later.
