Crowds Spring

What are the crowds like in late April early May in the parks? when is the best time to visit in the spring. We were going to take a last minute trip in the beginning of OCtober but I think we would rather go int he spring I have a three year old son and a three month old daughter. It may be better to go when she is closer to turning a year old.

We have gone the last week of April for the past 2 years & found it to be wonderful...except that we did notice that April 2005 was more crowded than April 2004. The weather was also a little cooler this year. We needed jackets once the sun went down, & long pants. We don't want to go to Fla. to wear long pants..and jackets cover up our matching Disney shirts. In 2006, we are planning on going in May (we also will not go the 2 weeks around Easter, which is late April this year).

We got fastpasses for those attractions offering them & never had a long wait at anything.
