crowds Sept. 20-25

We're thinking about going to Disneyland Sept. 20-25. The only thing available at Disneyland Hotel is a 1 bedroom suite. We are thinking of booking somewhere else, but if the parks are going to be full, might go at another time. Is there a special event or reason that the parks might be busy? TIA.

Just wanted to bump this up, because I'm curious also. We have our trip planned for Sept 22-27, and were hoping for smaller crowds. I did book our trip a couple of weeks ago and didn't have a problem, but I see now that a lot of the hotels are booked up. Anybody have any information?

We are going in Sept and I don't think it will be that bad, possibly due to all the 5 for 3 specials all the disney properties may be showing as full. We already have HOJO's booked, but the others do come up with availability but at full price.

I believe there is a convention going on. Thats why hotels are booking up.
