Hi All;
Have a chance to go to disney second week of February from 4th to 12th.

What will the crowds be like?

I have never gone this time of year only in August and the crowds then were horrible.

What are the lineups like in february for popular rides like soarin or test track or Buzz??

Thanks
HB

Crowds will be quite manageable in that time frame....BUT the most popular rides will always have longer lines, especially on the weekend.

I'll be there the 13-21....I am expecting heavier crowds then the time you plan on. People will start pouring in due to President's Week. (Lucky me! LOL)

You should be fine ;) Just pick up the Unofficial Guide to check which parks are better on which days or may I suggest Tour Guide Mike's site. (I am not affiliated with him just LOOVE his site ;)

I say book the trip! It'll be a difference from August, that's for sure!

We went last Feb.05 that time and it wasn't crowded at all except for the Monday at MK. Other than that it was only crowded on popular rides and during big shows.

We went the first week of Feb.05 and the weather was great during the day. At night we needed sweatshirts but were still in shorts. I actually came back to Canada in the middle of Feb. with a tan. 3 days after we left we were in Clearwater and it got really cold and we actually thought it was going to snow. Unfortuanately going this month it can be a hit or miss, but 2 years ago we went the 2nd last week in Jan. and it was not warm at all, that is why we changed this year to Feb. and what a difference the weather was. Hoped I help a little.

It was pretty busy last year at that time...there was a cheerleading/dance competition and many people from Louisiana were there to "escape" Mardi Gras. So far as I can tell, there will be no cheerleaders, and unfortunately, our friends from Louisiana will probably not be there in droves this year, either, as they have to make up school missed because of Katrina (at least this is what I read some time ago)

Weatherwise - it is a pretty nice time to go, but can get cool at night.

We will be there that week celebrating our 2nd wedding "Disneyversary".

The weather in Febraury is very unpredictable. You could have nice warm days in the 80s with cool morning,ms or you could have mornings near freezing with afternoons in the 40s.

There really is no way of telling except by checking a forecast right before you go!

You won't have to worry about Mardi Gras crowds, as MG is Feb 28, and most people will go from Fri/Sat Feb 24/25 - March 1/2. That should be the busiest time frame for Mardi Gras folks.
