I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question - but here goes...

We will be going to WDW with my sister who is the ultimate planner (thank you sis - seriously, I think she is the best and appreciate all she does ) and has been to Disney already.

My problem is the DH who is not as excited as he should be, and now, after reading a little of one of my disney guide books is upset about the dates we picked.

We will be going May 31th - June 7th. He thinks this will be a peak time for the crowds - but is happy about the weather.

So I am asking any veterans - how bad will the crowds be?

This really is the best time for us as DD is in Kindergarten this year and we really don't want her to miss any school and my sister and her husband are teachers and really can't skip out on their classes.

Thanks for the advice

That time frame and I would say crowds were average to moderate. With a basic plan and use EE and Fast Pass you will be fine. You posted your question on right board and I'm hoping some other vets can give you some more feed back on your question.::yes:: :wave2:

Read the PM I'm sending you. You might want to reschedule for the next week.

If the weather does not bother you, then you have chosen a great time to travel to Disney. The crowds are great the first week of June and Gay Days are nothing to worry about...just plan your park days to miss the planned days for GDs. We have been at this time many times and just love it. E-ride nights are great; you gotta attend at least one. Last time we went during this time frame was 2003. On two different nights on that trip, I rode ToT eight times (total of sixteen between the two nights) in the last hour of the day. I don't know what time of year with which you would be comparing the first week of June, but this week is not Peak season by any means.

We usually go to WDW in early June. The crowds are quite manageable. Every saturday at the MK is busy, no matter what time of year, but any event also adds to those crowds.

To us, the first week of June seems much less crowded than the following week, when many West Coast schools are letting out and the Summer travel season kicks into high gear.

The weather can be quite warm and humid, but not as bad as later in the month or in July.
