We were at WDW during the second half of Presidents' Week and didn't think it was too bad. We are going again this weekend, so I'm wondering if the crowds will be worse, better, or about the same? Anyone have experience with both? We had a slightly harder time getting a hotel through Priceline for this weekend, so I'm assuming that means it will be worse. TIA

I've never been during President's Day weekend, so this is an uneducated opinion... But I think spring break this year will be significantly worse than President's Day based on what I've heard from other people, the fact that resorts are booked to capacity, the lengthing of park hours, etc. I'm preparing for the worst. :(

Wow. Different perspectives ~ We were there the week before President's Day weekend. The beginning of the week wasn't so bad, still crowded, but the weekend was TERRIBLE. Every single Disney resort, including the ones by Downtown Disney, etc., were completely booked. We had to switch from the Poly to Pop because we booked late, and tried and tried and tried to stay at the Poly, but couldn't. Also, friends traveling with us who originally planned to go home early wanted to stay for the weekend and we could not find them one room at Pop or anywhere - so they went home.

We've only gone in January before when the crowds are literally non-existent. For example, we would ride Buzz, get off, walk around and get right back on. (In January) This time, there was a two-hour wait for fastpass returns and things like Space Mountain had a 90-minute standby wait time.

I think we're just spoiled because this is probably the norm for Spring Break/Easter/Summer. . . right?

I know that we will not return over President's weekend again - especially when it coincides with Valentine's Day, and the Daytona 500. Too many people for us. . .:earsboy:

I guess I didn't make it clear-we were there the second half of the week following the long weekend (Monday, the 16th, was the holiday, and we arrived on Wednesday, the 18th.

I was just wondering what to expect this weekend. I think we'll start out at MK when it opens Saturday, and then hop to Epcot around 11 when the crowds get really thick. We're going to AK first thing on Sunday, because we skipped it last time. That's where I am most concerned about crowding, since the walkways are narrower.
