Niceee...I'll be there Aug 25 - 31...hope it's the same for me

what are the crowds like mid november and how are the temps? there are 16 of us coming veterans day weekend. I did get the fast passes, at least we will get to get on each ride once FAST. Will I have to wear the meal deal wristband and the fast pass wristband too? please email @lisaanddenny030604@hotmail.com, I do appreciate this!

I dont think the fast passes are wristbands...i think they are tickets that look like the regular tickets??!? correct me if im wrong, please

If that's the case at WDW, UO's lines should be even shorter. :)

For Universal Studios you just show a ticket

They are printed on the same kind of stock, but it says EXPRESS on it, with the date and the park it's valid for. This costs extra.

We went to Disney last year the week of Veterans Day (Wed - Thurs). The weather could not have been more perfect. The crowds? I was disappointed. The place was quite full. All of New Jersey seemed to be there, maybe there was some special in that state. They had days off of school for Veterans Day and election day was off as well. It just shows you that you never know what you can expect during the slow season. The Unofficial WDW guidebook was way off the mark on this one.
Hopefully this year will be nice and quiet for you.

We will be at Universal this Sept. 21-25(Thurs-Mon). Are the weekends really that crowded? Unfortunately we will not be staying at a Universal hotel...maybe next time. We can't wait to go!!!!!!!!!

we went to dinsey late sept-oct last year, free dining deal, WOW, IT WAS BUSY and very hot, so the weather will make up for the crowds in November, I can tolerate the crowds more if the weather is not so hot and humid. thanks. did you do the dining deal by chance? if the fast passes are "tickets", how does one carry it around with them all day? HHMMMM? does it get wet?

You can keep it with your park tickets. Some people purchase lanyards w/ waterproof pouches to carry them in.

I should clarify that my family isn't going over Labor Day. I'm actually going to Hilton Head the 2nd week in Sept. I wish I could take 2 trips that close together. :teeth: I was inquiring for someone on another board who is considering going then & staying offsite. Thanks for everyone's input. :)

can anyone give me specifics about the meal deal, if you have eaten the food and think its worth it? maybe we should buy it day to day instead prebuying it for 3 whole days?

We did get the dining deal with our WDW package last year - it was way more food than any of us would eat - What was nice though - is that you could use the sit down meals for certain character breakfasts - very nice if like that. We went to Cinderella's Castle breakfast with our 2 girls (4 & 6) I would recommend this again to anybody.
