We are going down for a quick trip over Labor Day weekend. I noticed that rooms seem to be available at most of the hotels but I wonder about the local crowds. Anyone spend time there last year and can shed some light on what the level of crowds were.

we went last year over Labor Day Weekend and while it was busy it wasnt that bad.. We have been over Spring Break, 4th of July and Labor Day in past.. Its hard for me to describe the crowd level but the best I know how to explain is that is really wasnt all that bad even though it was crowded.. My current plan is to do a solo trip over LD weekend this year.. Cant wait

Thanks for the info. We have only every been down once during the beginning of spring break and it seemed crowed when you walked around but yet you were able to do most of the attractions in a reasonable amount of time.

We were there last year during labor day and the week following, crowd were not near as bad as spring break, there were times on certain rides that the line would be 40 to 60 min, but we just fast passed those. After Labor day it was very nice with no wait or 20 min wait. Of course Soarin etc was a little longer as always. You will enjoy that time of year. :sunny: But it is still very humid and warm, so drink plenty of fluids.

Thanks for the response. I remember being there the 3rd week of Sept and it was very hot and humid. That is okay as long as we can manage the parks in a reasonable amount of time.

That is my next step, to try Disney by myself. I have done day trips solo when I visit my son in Orlando, but never stayed at the resorts for a few days by myself. If people would stop inviting themselves along maybe I could try it.LOL. Oh well, just another reason to go back down.
