Here at Epcot today and you can barely walk in World Showcase! Lines for all booths are 30+ minutes! Absolutely crazy.

I bet it’s still hangers-on from fall break and Columbus Day week. Hopefully it lightens up for you soon!

I’m shocked that it’s busier now than it was the week of Oct 1. I’m hoping these are fall break/Columbus day crowds and the light crowds come back. Or maybe people theorized that the first week of October would be madness so they waited a week or two.

Every October trip we have taken has been busy and hot. The Halloween decorations are cool and the entire mood is great. Food & Wine is also a big draw. I hope they are able to have the staff needed to open everything and bring things back to normal. It's great to see so many people enjoying a vacation. Its been a long time for everyone. Thanks for the pictures but I will say they look like normal levels to me. I've seen it a lot crazier.

Probably all the locals wanted to enjoy anything Disney without the Genie!
Which starts Tuesday! Whether we want it or not.

Disney Springs was crazy busy tonight.
Hoping the parks aren't that bad, but Touringplans raised the crowd levels significantly earlier this week.
Either way, it will be fun.

Saw Harmonious tonight, phenomenal spot. Show was, eh. No emotion, technically amazing, great music but no chills.

Overall crowd level today per touringplans was a 3, and Epcot was a 3. It’s like anything else, at any given point you can encounter a crowd, and crowds are very subjective, but based on overall wait time the parks are not crowded right now.

I can’t believe it was a 3. I agree with pp that it was mobbed. You couldn’t walk in world Showcase. If ride times were low, than it was only because literally everyone was squashed into the Showcase.

If Epcot was a 3 yesterday, than I don't want to see anything too much over that. It was crazy, and honestly those pictures above looked like some of the smaller crowds we experienced. We've been here since last Tuesday and Epcot was an absolute zoo compared to what it had been on the weekdays. Daytime crowds were about double what we'd experienced and by evening I'd say triple. I know everyone says to avoid F & W on weekends and they are absolutely correct. The only reason we even attempted it was our son could only come down for a long weekend and he really wanted to go. Live and learn - never again. Go on a weekday!!

We ended up leaving before Harmonious as we were hungry, the food lines were insane and tables were few and far between. We stayed until the Beacons of Light started on Spaceship Earth (so beautiful!!), then headed back to WL for drinks and an app at Territory Lounge, then dinner at Geyser Point while watching the Electric Water Pageant - all with zero crowds. We all agreed it was a lovely way to end the day vs the madhouse at Epcot. We'll be back in December, though, so it was an easy decision for us to just blow off Harmonious.

That sounds SO nice!

You didn’t miss a whole lot. Harmonious was technically cool but very underwhelming. We will be back Tuesday with hopefully much smaller crowds.

Can you tell me a little bit about watching the pageant from here? Is it table seating?

Yes, though not all of the tables have a good view. It’s all open to the outside though. You can just walk outside if you like. There are some tables and chairs by the water as well as a long wall you can sit on and watch the show. It’s short but fun. It’s a great way to end your evening.

Those pics are day-time. it got worse after in the evening. I can see pavement in the day time pics. Last night was crazy.

I need a smart person to figure out a crowd level for World Showcase. I will be your first subscriber.

I don't think the touring plan numbers are accurate anymore. My friend who lives there and goes all the time took her grandson there this week and she was mobbed every day. And on the day she was in MK, TP said it was a 1. She said it was shoulder to shoulder.

We live here as well.
So we use the TP predictions as a guide to plan, regularly. I'm sure its become more complicated since covid, and trying to keep track when other nations and US open travel. But i knew this was fall break, and was very sure nothing was going to be a CL 1.

Touring Plans raised MK from a 1 to a 5 today. The park was busy, but not crazy and wait times were not terrible.
