For months speculation has been that this would be a crowded week at WDW with some, especially college, spring breaks, etc. Anyone there now have a take on that?

the MK today hit the projected 55,000. 9 of the 11 parking lots were filled. that's what our tram CM told us on the way out. Splash was a 90 minute standby, Space and Big Thunder 70. yesterday at MGM, TOT hit 70 minutes most of the day. if we didn't have friends visiting, we never would have gone. but oh well, it was better than going to work.

Thanks! Glad--I think--we're going next week:)
Anyone else?

We'll be down there on Friday through to Thursday. I'm hoping that it clears out some. Do you think that the cheerleaders from the weekend are still there?

We were there March 7-13. March 7-10 was quite light but Monday the 13th was the worst I have ever seen AK and MK. On Monday it took us 2 hours to do KS, ITTBAB and Dinosaur using the FP line (my son is disabled). We then hopped over to MK where it was wall-to-wall people. IASW had huge serpentine lines out into the general sidewalks and CMs were trying to control the line. All we managed to do at MK was Splash and IASW and we had to leave at 4:00 to catch our plane. Sure, the cheerleaders were there, but the vast majority of guests were families on Spring break.

My aunt and her children are down there this weekend for the ball tournement and she said the crowds were horrible. As much as I would like to be at Disney, I really don't want to be there when I'm fighting through crowds of ball teams, spring breakers, and cheerleaders. ;)

Sorry to say but a new group of Cheerleaders arrive today - Sunday. :cheer2:

We are leaving at 5 AM and driving straight through to get there tomorrow night. The cheerleading competitons are all day Friday - Saturday.

I wish we didn't have to go...........I love disney, but I would rather go the first week in December. I hate crowds!!!
