Crowds last week...

Did anyone else think it was crowded last week or is it just me? I was expecting low crowds since it wasn't summer yet but WOW there were a LOT of people. Just curious what others perceptions were.

YESSS.

I just got back last night from going for this past weekend and boy was it crowded with people. There were a lot of middle school & high school trips (grads & band/choir competitions). Also, some school lets their kids out in May. I think thats what you have to expect this time of year. The longest wait that I saw was 70 minutes for Indie (no way did I wait for that).

It wasn't too bad IMO ~ we were there Mon-Wed. we didn't wait long for anything. Used FPs ~ DS used the Indie & Screamin' single rider lines. Our longest line was waiting to meet the princesses back at PFF!

yeah... for the first time ive ever seen it, DCA park closes @ 10 Fri-Sun... Not even summer they close at 10... esp on a off season...

We were there Wed-Sat for my son's band trip. Yes, tons of bands and choirs! Wed & Thur were good, we had very short waits. Fri & Sat was crazy!

We were there Mon.-Fri. and Fri. was very crowded. Didn't see the middle school bands until Fri. tho. Mon.-Thurs. wasn't bad at all IMHO. I have seen worse.

I was also surprised how busy it was....I thought it would be quieter for the middle of May! It seemed like there was lots of people everywhere....however having said this....MOST of the lines were really not that bad...I think the longest line we saw was 45 min. but most everything was less than 20 minutes...it made me extra happy to not be going during the summer months!!!

On Saturday night, we were contemplating going on Indie again before taking off (park was closing in about 45 minutes) and the wait time for Indie was 70 minutes

I'm sorry, but I go to DL pretty often and I can't wait that long. I was there during the weekend and was completely prepared for the busy-ness, so I invested in going places less attracting to the grand public (innoventions, the animation building, its tough to be a bug, etc.) I had a great time

We were there last week and it seemed busy to us. We have gone in Feb. and thought that maybe that was normal for May? Is was not too bad but way busier than our Feb. trip.

YES! We were there Wed through Sun and I thought it was nuts compared to our other May visits in the past. And going through Downtown Disney after the parks closed at 6 & 8 was insane. We were able to ride most everything, but I'm thankful for having 5 days to accomplish that.
