Crowds last week at F & W?

The past 5 years or so, we have always gone to F & W over the Columbus day week. We have some family health issues this year, so we put our annual trip on hold. Happily, we are able to go on a last minute trip, able to book BWV for the last week of F&W. (OMG booked sun-thurs 3 weeks out!)

Can anyone tell me how crowds are the last week? It's always been pretty crowded for us in the past, but it was a holiday weekend. Just wondering how it will compare!!

It seemed plenty crowded to me. But, the big thing was record breaking temps! Hopefully, you will have more moderate temps when you go.
I think you are going to be getting in on the Jersey Week crowd. And, there are several school districts that have a 2-day break (mon & tues) for the election.

It was extremely hot and humid. Heat index was 103F, with that crowds were light on Friday & Sunday but crowded on Sat.

Hoping that the heat doesn't repeat again this year! The weather in October was always one of our favorite things....usually some rain, but always great temps. If it was record breaking, hopefully the temps will be back to normal this year!

I was there last Wednesday and Thursday and didn't find it as crowded as I did in years past. One year it was so crowded that we left. All you saw were "heads bobbing up and down" in front of you.

And yes; that heat and humidity was overpowering. I've never seen it as hot in October as I did last week. It was so hot, I couldn't even lay out in the sun; I spent all my pool time IN the pool! LOL..
