We've decided to make a quick trip to catch the Osborne lights for one last time. We will be flying in NY eve but not going to a park. We plan to hit DHS on Friday new years day and MK on Saturday the 2nd then head home Sunday. I have been reading about xmas - Nye crowds and it sounds miserable but how about the 1st and 2nd? Just as bad?

Those dates will still see very high crowds.
Being a Fri. and Sat. they are a part of many guests' holiday time.

Will they be less busy than, say, Dec. 27, well... maybe, but not much.

If you stay a few days past the 1st and 2nd, the crowds die down significantly, I'll be there right there with you. Doing anything we have to see the Osborne Light Show one last time.

I'll be there the 2nd through the 5. I'm anticipating lots of crowds our first two days, being saturday and sunday, but hoping to see the crowds die down on our last two days.

Crowds may continue to be high on Friday the 1st (holiday) and Saturday the 2nd. I would also anticipate large crowds for the last night of the Osborne lights on the 3rd, although I can't say I anticipate there being closures for capacity.
