Crowds in October?

We'll be in Disney Oct 7-14th, does anyone know what we can expect for crowds and wait times for the attractions?

Think it'll be crowded on Columbus day weekend & busier @ Epcot for F&W, hope it's not too busy & the weather holds.

Well, hoping it will be much better than last trip (April 2005). It was VERY crowded. You know its a crowded day when the wait for Its a small world is an hour!

We always used to go in late September/early October. The crowds were fine then. I think the night of MNSSHP it gets crazier.

We will be there then too. I have heard that Oct is starting to get a little busier than it had been previously but that's ok, just more people to share the magic with !

We'll be there then, too! 10/7-10/14, staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Where are you staying? I'm also hoping it won't be too crowded......or too hot.....and that we can avoid the threat of a hurricane at that time.....

We went the last week of October and are going again this year. The crowds were very manageable and we had great weather. F&W in Epcot is also good for the adults to "drink around the world". Hope to see some DISers when we go!

I was there Oct 4 - 11 last year. Rained every day ~ not enough to matter, but you need a poncho. Just do something inside for an hour till it lets up. The crowds were non existant. It was so great that I'm doing it over this year!

Threeangels I will be there also from Oct 7-14 at POR. I will be hanging a LGMHPC in my window.

We will be going to the MNSSHP on the 10th. I will be wearing a t-shirt with a lime green pirate mickey on the sleeve and I'll be looking for other Dissers. Maybe we will see you.

Last time I went in Oct was after Sept 11. It wasn't busy then, I hope its not too busy this time either.

sounds like it will be busier the week of columbus day or starting the saturday before 10-7, hopefully or lucky for me that will be my last day there so I hope to just hang out no schedule that day. So lets hope there isn't any big crowds from 10-2 till then so I can do everything I want to... see you there........

We'll be there Oct 15 - Oct 19. We're hoping to see a few DISers as we'll have a little gift from VT to give to a few that we meet.

We, too, hope that the weather is not too hot and the crowds are not too thick!

We were there last year from 10/8 - 10/15. The crowds were very manageable considering the Columbus holiday. By Tues of that week the crowds thinned out. It was very hot though.

We'll be at SSR 10/28 - 11/5 this year. Hoping it's a little cooler.
