Crowds in November?

Want to book another trip for next November and was thinking of around the 17-26th. Do any of you know where I could find out about crowd levels at that time of year.

We just returned last night (10-17th) and the first 4 days were packed so I was hoping to find a little better time to go. TIA

Oh no, we're going Nov 8th - 15th next year! Were the crowds on the weekends and Veteran's Day?

We had our family vacation November 14-21 this year. MVMCP was packed, but not to the extent that we didn't enjoy it and get enough hot chocolate and apples on the 16th. The weekdays of the week before Thanksgiving did not seem crowded to us at all. Epcot was very doable on the 18th, as was DHS on the 17.

The temps were quite chilly/cold that week. We didn't do nearly as much swimming as we would have liked. The Osborne lights didn't light up before Thanksgiving and that was a disappointment. The plan was to show the family Disney's awesome Christmas decorations, and they were just going up that week. The displays at the Beach/Yacht clubs were up by Wednesday and everyone enjoyed seeing them.

The week you picked has been great in the past. Went these same dates over the past 2 years and aside from a busy 1st weekend, the week was pretty quiet. In 2007, the 1st weekend included the last weekend of the F&W, the Fest of the Master's at DTD and SSW (Super Soap Weekend) at DHS. That and Vet's day was on the following Monday made it busy. But once those crowds left, the parks were VERY manageable. This year SSW was the following weekend from the last F&W and FotM and Vet's day was Tuesday, but by Wed. the parks were back to very manageable. Next year there is no SSW so that will take away a big crowd from DHS.

I think you've picked a great week for WDW - enjoy!!!

my '06 and '07 experience was the week before Thanksgiving week is quite good for fairly low crowd levels. The crowds really pickup the weekend before Thanksgiving, and keep getting busier, and busier, and not so pleasant the closer you get to Thanksgiving day.

I believe 2 weeks before Thanksgiving was/is? the last week of F&W festival, and still busy or at least more difficult to book..

Anytime! I really think you'll have a good week and I like the idea of adding on more days - you can never get enough Disney!!!
