Crowds in mid-March ??

We're trying to plan a trip to WDW in mid-March, around St. Patrick's Day. We have never been at that time of year and I'd really like to know what the crowds will be like. I realize that it may be spring break for a lot of schools, but Easter is not for another 2-3 weeks. Anyone who can share some information ??? Thanks ahead of time.

We went this past March from March 4-11. The crowds were not that bad until we hit Cheerleader Friday at MK on the 10th. We could barely push the stroller without fear of running into people. We just happened to hit the competition at the end of the week, but other than that it was great. Weather was wonderful! Not a cloud all week and no rain!

We were there on St. Patrick's Day (3/11-18) this year and it was crowded. Lines seemed to be in the 60-minute range for popular rides. Fast passes were often 2-3 hours out. It is spring break for many schools.

We were there for Springbreak in 2005 and it was not that bad for us. It was crowded but not hot so it was better in that sense. We just took full advantage of the extra magic hours and fast pass. We only waited about 45 minutes one time for RNR and that was because FP was out and we really wanted to ride.

I have been in Mid March and it was during spring break. That was about 14 years ago. The crowds were a pretty good sized. At the time i had only gone during April vacation when it was mobbed so Mid march wasn't that bad. Now i have been spoiled with such a small crowd because we go in late September or May. Our DD is 6 so we have been lucky to be able to go during those times.
