Crowds in mid Feb

Does anyone have experience being in Disney Mid Feb through Presidents week? How bad does it get? We are booked 2/14-2/23 and we are trying to prepare for the volume. Did you have significant wait times for rides or just the biggies? When did the crowds really start to pick up, and did it thin out at all?

Our school system in on break from 2/19 - 2/23rd - and I am trying to maximize vacation time without missing too much (high school and middle school girls).

Sorry to ask a million questions, just want to be as prepared as possible. As always, thanks!

President's Week is very crowded, as is any week that schools are out in many parts of the country.

Crowds will start building on Saturday the 17th and will remain pretty heavy through at least Wednesday the 21st. By around Thursday it usually get a little better, but it's still more crowded than average.

It's MUCH slower before President's weekend but I've been that week the last three years and have found that after Monday (President's Day) it's really not as bad as people say. I find it much slower than during Spring Break. We never waited more than 25 minutes if we did a good job with planning fast passes.
Though, I would say it would be nice if they had both water parks open. For some reason the finish the rehab and have both open the following week. Silly.

We'll be there Feb 11-16. My understanding is that that week is still very lightly crowded, with crowding building on Saturday Feb 17, and remaining pretty heavy through middle of the next week.
