Just had to post and share. I was starting to get worried about our Aug. 15-22 trip. Free dinning is being offered, so I thought it would be way crowded. But, I just checked Touringplans.com, and we have mostly 6's for our trip! Yay, yay, yay! Can't wait!;)

We were there last year for that time frame and will be going again this year. In years past this was always the week before free dining started so the parks were really empty. Last year there were more people but the waits weren't bad at all. Don't forget, schools in the south start going back around that time so that is a help. As I said, we will be there also and we never worry about the crowds. Just make sure to pack ponchos (just in case), and drink plenty of water and you will be all set.

We are also going from 8/15-8/21 and it is our first time going in August. We usually go during Winter Break (DH and I are both teachers) but the kids really wanted to go to the water parks, and we couldn't resist Free Dining!!!

I would appreciate any "August Advice" you could give!!!

We have been in late Aug., and also in July. It's very hot, but we just move at our own pace and drink lots of water. We also take pool breaks mid day, and spend more time in the parks at night.
I didn't feel it was all that crowded last year when we were there in July. I prepared myself for crowds, but was pleasantly surprised! We just use fast pass for the "big" rides, but didn't feel the wait was all that bad for anything.
I'm so excited about this upcoming trip! Our two grandon's are 2 yrs. old, and I can't wait to watch them enjoy!;)
