My husband and I just took our belated honeymoon to WDW in September, and since it was my first time at Disney, I was pleased at the number of people. We didn't have to wait for rides or anything and it was great! Since we got married in April of this year, we are planning a trip in May to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We figured May would be better on crowd control, since most Spring Breakers visit in March and April...for those of you who have been before....are we better off in May? We are planning May 12-19. I have been trying to plan this trip back to WDW before we ever left in September....what can I say, I am HOOKED!!!! :cheer2:

We like going in May. We usuallly go to celebrate our anniv(May 14) and DS birthday(25th) We are always gone by the 20th since some states start letting out for the summer around then. Our first year going very low crowds with maybe 5min wait for majority of rides only made one PS for CRT then did walk ins for our other TS meals, it was very hot though. Following year the weather was much nicer! But there was a bit more crowds. Used fast passes more, and made PS for all our TS meals. But not bad. This past year we went end of April and weather was fine. But waiting everywhere we went. Even with a ressie there was quite a bit of wait. And we didn't even get to do the Kilomanjaro ride b/c all the fast passes were gone for the day by lunch time and the wait time was 90mins. Have a magical trip!

Weather was great last May. Crowds good in early hours could get some lines later. :Pinkbounc

We went May 11-18 last year and it was awesome! No lines at all! It was hot the last few days. We may go again this year same time. Have fun!

We went last May and the weather couldn't have been nicer. The crowds were low until the Friday before Memorial Day week-end. MGM was having Star Wars week-end and it was packed. We will always try to go in May from now on.

We have been to WDW 3 times in September, 1 time in early December and 2 times in early May. There were a lot more people there on the May trips. The Flower/Garden Festival in Epcot was beautiful in May. I think that you will have a great time but maybe experience more crowds than your previous trip.

A few years ago, we went on May 20 and stayed five days. The crowds were not that bad. The temps were high 80's. We did not notice a problem with the crowds until the Friday before Memorial Day; we were flying home that evening, so it wasn't too big a problem.
