Easter is not until April this year, but I know a lot of schools have their Spring Break in March or April. When do these peak? We're planning a weekend at Universal - March 18 & 19th. Will the crowds be horrible?

We will have onsite Express Pass - but a little unsure if I should pre-book restaurant reservations, etc.

We will also be there that weekend and it wail be VERY crowded. We don't usually pre-book restaraunts as we like to see where we are when hungry rather than plan around a reservation. Between the hotels, City Walk and the parks, there's always somewhere to catch something within walking distance; unlike Disney where once in a park, even the counter service can have crazy lines.

We are going to be there the 1st weekend in March. What do you think the crowd will be like? :confused3

check the onsite hotel rates and the epp costs.
if they are high, that is an indicator of crowds in the parks.

Remember...you can only book table service restaurants and there are not many inside the parks. CityWalk is a different matter and with staying onsite, you will get preferred seating by showing your room key. Or...you could make reservations that morning at the kiosk across from the theater in CityWalk.

Other than the concert at the Studios, I don't know of anything that would significantly increase crowd levels for that weekend. Goo Goo Dolls will be performing at the Studios 3/3 and they will bring in quite a crowd at the Studios in the evening but shouldn't affect IOA crowds at all.
