Thinking of going the 3rd week of February, has anyone been at this time, and if so, how were the crowds and the weather? We usually go in March so we are a little nervous about changing.

Welcome to the DIS!

I assume you mean the week of the 19th, and if so it will be pretty crowded for President's Day week.

February weather is completely unpredictable. You could have warm days with cool mornings, or you could have mornings near freezing with afternoons in the 40s and 50s. Or anything in between!

We were there this past February, from the 4th to the 10th. It was as dead as I've ever seen it. Almost everything was a walk on. The weather was perfect, got a little chilly at night. I wore jeans into the parks every day, which was a first for me. My son and I went to Universal on Sunday the 5th. Got there at about 12:00, which is the latest we've ever gone into a park. We waited for nothing, and like I said, this was a Sunday. I knew then it was going to be a good week at Disney. Like Bob said however, the week you're looking at might be bad due to the holiday. Good luck! :thumbsup2

We've been twice in February now and it's my favourite time of year to go. The parks are as quiet as I've ever seen them- we went as a party of 4 a year or so ago and found we didn't need any ADRs and still did everything we wanted to do. The rides are pretty much walk-ons apart from the biggies. Weather wise it's unpredictable. I'm a Brit so pretty used to the cold- February weather in FLA felt warm to me, but definitely not hot. We managed with shorts in the daytime but had to resort to jeans at night. One day, however, we wear caught short and ended up having to buy sweaters from Discovery Cove we were so cold.. so I'd always carry some sort of lightweight jacket. Rain-wise we've always been really lucky in Feb and hardly experienced any! I think it's a lovely time to go!

HTH..

If you go during Presidents Week it will be crowded. However, good planning will make the crowds more than managable. Make ADRs now and use fastpass to your advantage and you should be fine. We love it at that tiem and will be there again this feb.

Im going in Feb too (Jan31st-Feb 5) and its good to hear that the parks are dead. Unperdictible weather huh, well Im from New England so changing weather I can handle. Have fun on your trip.

Is it slow even during the weekends with the dancers/cheerleaders? I'm going the weekend of the 9th-11th and heard one of those groups wuld be there at the same time. I also had a hard time getting the room I wanted so I was afraid it might be crowded!
