Crowds in Early May??

How are the crowds usually in Early May??? I've read the weekends are much more crowded than the weekdays, is this still true?? Also are certain times or day more crowded than others... Thanks for any advice on beating the crowds..

Every weekend is more crowded than the weekdays no matter what time of year it is.

The first weekend of May (the 2nd and 3rd) is Bat's Day (goth day) and I believe there's going to be a convention going on with high school students over at the convention center. That will affect the crowds and make them larger than "normal" weekend crowds.

As for the second weekend of May, I'm not too sure what's going on.

We were going to go to the parks the first weekend of May for my birthday (the 1st), but because of the convention and Bat's Day we just moved our days to the week.

Hey! were going on may10th so I really hope its not crazy busy! School is still in so it should be ok, with the excpetion of weekends of course

We went the first week of May in 2007 and we were there Sun-thurs. Like the previous poster said every weekend is more crowded (no matter the season). The park definitely wasn't empty, it was just moderate and we had a good time, not very long waits for the rides and the weather was just right...but then again we went in April 08 and it was BOILING HOT, so May doesn't guarantee pleasant weather

i'm hoping for okay crowds...we plan to be in the parks sunday evening (5/3) thru friday afternoon (5/8). and i'm hoping the weather will be nice and warm. this seattle weather's getting me down! argh!

Its going to be more crowded than nov. but just plan accordingly.
