Crowds in August ?

Hi all, can anyone tell me what the crowds are typically like in the 3rd week in August? We are trying to plan a trip and have never been there at this time. Thanks for your help. MP

I think you will find that the crowds thin towards the end of August as the locals go back to school.

On average this is a pretty good time to go as far as summer crowds go......but this year, the free dining plan will be in full force this week so not sure how that might impact the crowds. I think it's going to be pretty popular.

The crowds should be pretty manageable that time of the year. If you plan right (use FastPass, hit the popular attractions early in the day, etc.), you shouldn't have to wait more than 10-15 minutes for any ride.

Thanks for your reply, my wife and I are still debating, unfortunately we cannot take the kids out of school any more, so the end of the summer is the only time. Again thanks... Mike
