Hi

We are thinking of camping close by to Euro Disney. I am little concerned about the crowd levels in August. Can anyone tell me what the crowds are like how long are the waiting time for shows/rides. I have only been WDW and its manic in August. We will be thinking of going around the 13th August. Any tips would be great.

Thanks it will be for 2 adults 3 kids aged 2,2 and 6.

We've been in August just once for the day & we were camping too. It wasn't as busy as we'd expected.

We did go mid-week though not at the weekend. Is the 13th during the week?

Because it's August you get longer opening hours than when we normally go in June so that made a difference too.

I'd get there early & use as many fast passes as you can.

Because we went just for 1 day we took fleeces with us for the evening & left them at left luggage which was just before the ticket barriers. The lockers under the station haven't been in operation for a few years now.

hope that's a little help to you .

Which campsite are you staying at?

Hi

Thanks we have looked into and we are thinking of staying for 5 nights but leaving on the 14th August to avoid weekend. We have seen Jablines and La Belle, David Crouquett no longer accepts camping apparently.

Where did you stay any recommendations?

Is the disney village free? Or do you need passes to get into it. We thought our first night we would go and see the disney village?

Thanks

The disney village is free, I think you may have to pay for parking (not sure)

Hi,

We went for the first time last August, 3rd-7th I think. Stayed at Davy Crockett and it was good. Will stay there again. I'm sure that I read in the Brits guide book that the camping wasn't considered good value at Davy Crockett compared to staying in the cabins, although this is somewhat irrelevant if they don't offer it anymore.

Regarding crowds we got to the park by 8.30 and waited for the park to open at 9am. Untill about 10am the queues were quite minimal - 5 minutes wait tops. After that though they did build up, 45 minutes for Dumbo at 11am was the most we bothered to do. Only saw Animagique and that had little queues.

Generally our kids (then 2 and 8) were quite tired by lunchtime so we usually left the park and went back to Davy Crocketts and enjoyed the pool etc.

Having not done any research about it prior to booking, we would have avoided the weekend if possible as it was noticeable busier then.

Yes it is free and you'll just have to pay for parking :)

As others have said aim for mid week as both Saturday and Sunday parks can be mobbed. Get to park early as crowds built up after 11.00am In the afternoon Peter Pan and the other main attractions can have queue times of at least 90 mins

Hi

Thanks for your replies. It has really helped. We will be camping at Jablines apparently 10km away from Disney. They offer a free bus to the parks.

Cant wait to book. I have emailed them, just waiting for them to let me know whats needed to book.

Thanks again
