crowds in August/Express

Wondering what crowds would be like the first week in August. I want to stay at Sapphire Springs but I understand that it doesn't have Express. I don't think we'd need it that time of year. My kids are insisting we stay at one of the properties that includes Express. They don't want to wait in long lines. Thanks

It is still pretty crowded. Kids aren't back in school for another week or so yet down south and aren't back for a few more weeks up north. We are going the 14th-22nd and we wont go without express pass .

If you check the on site hotel rates and see they are high, an indicator of many rooms booked

Check the date and rate thread of last year and this year to get another prospective or rates

When hotels are full then parks usually have crowds

That's still peak summer, it'll be busy and I would say you would definitely want EP.

Kong is opening this year, that could add a whole bunch of peeps to the parks. Lines will be long..........
