Hey we will be leaving for the world on april 24th, and staying till may 2nd. Any advice on the crowds? And weather? I am trying to pack now for this and just thought I would get everyones insight ;)

We are from upstate NY, and will be there that week too. That is our spring break at school (I teach). I believe that is when many people have spring vacation in this part of the country. I do not think it will be as crowded as Easter week or the two weeks before or after Easter, though.Daily average temperature is 84 degrees for mid-late April in orlando. I honestly do not think there is a "quiet" time at Disney! although it used to be quieter in late fall.I did read on another thread that "Disney was booked" for that week so I guess we should plan on crowds. Have a great vacation!!! :cool1:

My husband and I went for our honeymoon the first week in May and there were suprisingly few people there. The longest we waited in line was if we got there as a ride was starting. It was great!

Hi! We have loved going in early May on previous trips for the great weather and short lines. This year I think might be a different story for us. Hopefully you will be there before the crowds(leaving May 2). Just prepare yourself for long lines(just in case) and have a great time!! :sunny:

usually the end of april is great except this year the northeast schools have vacation that week so i think it is going to be much more crowded than normal

Great! I hope so bad that it isn't too bad, I can't and i know my daughter can't stand to wait inline for a very long time, i get agrivated if we do have too. Thanks everyone!

For those of you that are also going the end of April, I definately suggest taking a look at either the Unnoficial Guide or signing up for Tour Guid Mike. They have great touring plans that will help you avoid those lines and maximize your time while still enjoying yourself.

Take Care,
Dana
