Crowds & heat:perception

All five trips we've taken were in June or July. This year will be end of July into August. I'd rather it not be so hot, but aside from all the logical tips aobut hydration, early entry, breaks etc., there was one unexpected benefit - by slowing down due to the heat, you really have an opportunity to take in the atmosphere of the park - something you might not do when rushing from one attraction to another. Take it slow - and enjoy the ambience.
