Crowds for next week??

We're finally going to WDW next week! How are the crowds in mid-June? SHould we do EMH or are all the FLA kids out of school there?

The closer you get to July 4th the bigger the crowds are. Each week in June is more crowded than the preceding week.

Having said that, don't stress, go early, and use FastPass!

Southern schools are out by Memorial Day, so yes Fl schools are out! We were there last week, crowds not bad except at Magic Kingdom. Crowds are always bad there. Go early, use Fastpass for the popular attactions. I found the evening EMH to be of no benefit, go to that park the next morning while everyone else is in bed resting up from the night before.

There are only a certain amount of FPs for each FP time frame. As sooon as they run out, it jumps to the next time frame....etc for the rest of the day. The "big" rides (Space, Splash, TT, etc) often run out of FPs by mid-afternoon in peak season. Or you may get a FP at 11AM that gives you an entry time of 6-7PM.

Expect large crowds at MK. The other parks don't seem real crowded until mid afternoon. By the way, Florida school kids make very little difference in the crowds. People think that because Florida residents can go to WDW, they all go. Most of the people I've met since moving here rarely go to the theme parks. I've met several families that have lived here their entire lives and have never been to the parks. The vast majority of DDs high school friends do not have park passes and go, maybe, once a year.
