Crowds for April 2016

I know this is way in the future but thinking about next year. Our vacations are split with school. Easter gives us a 4 day weekend. But the schools are giving the last week of April 2016 off for Passover. I noticed one site listed that week as a great week to go. But I wonder if we have it off in NY how many other people will have that week as well.

I'm in KY. We have the week of March 28th (after Easter) for spring break.

My 4 kids & I went to WDW the week leading to Easter this year. It was very crowded, but we managed to ride everything we wanted multiple times by going at rope drop. I expected it to be much worse.

Because I was thinking of going the last week of April 2016. But since it seems to be a very late Spring Break for some next year...now we will go the first or second week of May.

I can only add this:
The last weekend in April into the first weekend in May is USUALLY a big weekend for All Star cheerleading at Disney. worlds is usually the last weekend of April and Summit is has been the first full weekend in May.
While the athletes spend a lot of time at ESPN WWoS, there is usually the Sunday night when one park closes early for a ticket only event for athletes. For Summit it was HS last year and again this year. Not sure about Worlds.
If you are planning to stay at a value or mod resort, they will be very packed. This year for Worlds and Summit, the package deals are for Pop, All Star, and CBR. At this time, Summit has sold out of all their rooms and thereare still teams to be added to the competition next weekend if they win an invitation. Meaning, those teams will spill into other resorts. I'll add - My daughter is an All Star and we are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

When do they announce those dates? Do you think they would still do it Passover week? Will they know by late summer?

The end of April is still quite busy with cheer week and end of school year field trips/ senior trips regardless of Passover or Easter.

Worlds has been announced for April 23-25. Summit dates are not posted but NSPA Summit is April 30-May 1 in Tampa. I believe the plan is to have the The Summit the same weekend in Disney.

Our calender just came out and our Spring Break is March 21-25 next year. We don't have any days off in April.
