Touring Plans is showing a 4, and most of the other days of our trip are 5 or 6. Shouldn't the hi day be high? Should I trust it? We aren't doing Horror Nights this time.

Not sure but I just tried to book the 11th thru the 15th and there is no availability except for CB. Played with dates, AP vs non AP, and still nothing:(

I booked a night (at CB in my case) but only could get a room thru Expedia, oddly enough. (For Oct 12) Other Universal hotels were available at that time, about 2 weeks ago.

I called Universal and they said no rooms available at all, in any of their hotels, but I think their issue was the one night stay. Expedia let me book the one night.

It appears to be the Saturday that is booked up. I finally found availability if I booked starting Sunday. Thanks for the heads up!

Many use the Monday to travel back home. The week prior is busy

We are arriving next Sunday too and I had a room at RPR. Canceled and moved to Harbour Lake 1-bedroom for half the price. Am hoping that the "slow" notes I see on another Universal crowd tracking site holds true for Columbus Monday and Tuesday. Weather looks to be iffy but that's what ponchos are for if that forecast is still accurate in a week.

See you there!

Melissa

I have been at the darkside during Columbus Day since 2007
Each year the crowds grows around noontime.

Maybe it is the park I am at at the time?
Last 2 years it has been a moderate crowd.

Hotels are pretty much filling up for that weekend.
I couldn't add any days to my ressie when I tried in mid sept
But, I do have a decent amount of nights there but wanted to add another day
