crowds first week of Oct?

I have been planning forever now for a Sept trip- but found out hubby will need to work- so then we talked about mid Nov but decided that it's too crammed with the upcoming holidays- soooo I'm looking at 10/3 for a week. We could still get free dining if we check in on the 3rd, is that correct? It'll be cheaper than Nov for the 4 of us to get free dining. Unless, Nov offers a huge discount??

I was wondering - How are the crowds that first week in Oct?? Weather??

Any help would be great. My brain is totally fried with all of this planning.

I don't know how the crowds will be, but am definitely interested in any information since I am headed there that week as well. In answer to your FD question, we are checking in the 3rd and are getting FD for our entire stay.

yeppers! we check in on the 3rd and get free dining. we had originally planned on the 4th to check in but i "sweet talked" my hubby into leaving a day earlier to see if we could get FD. we did so it all worked out. saved us $$$ AND a extra day at my favorite place!!

We are going 10/1- 10/6. I don't think the crowds will be to bad and hopefully the restaurants either as it is on the tail end of free dining.

well, I guess the crowds no longer matter- considering we are now planning on going Nov 15th for the week. I hope the crowds will be low! I'm selfish, sorry! I want the parks to be empty.

We will be there 10/2 thru 10/11! Yes, you can get free dining still as long as your first night is on or before October 3...just make sure you book your ressie before the deadline later this month! This is my 1st early October trip so I can't offer any info on crowds but I assume with school being back in session, the crowds will be lighter and at least it will be cooler than our past two trips in August!!

We are going 10/1-10/7, last year it was a very quiet week, walk onto all rides, but no free dining. Weather was warm uppers 80's we swam every day.
