So we`ve finally settled on dates for our trip: Oct. 29-Nov. 7. I recall reading that the crowds are reasonable the first week of November. What is your experience? Thanks for any insight/advice!

We will be there Oct 28th - Nov 10th, I believe it will be Jersey Week when we are there, as well as a race weekend. Crowds might be higher.

Everything I've read says October has become one of busiest months of the year.

Who cares have fun!! The weather should be decent!!

We've gone several times during Jersey Week (see my name !) and never have had an issue with crowds. I would say the crowds are moderate, but if you plan ahead, make ADR and FP's you won't have an issue. You'll just see a lot of people with Eagles, Giants and Yankee Tee shirts on.

The week after that used to be a great time to go. With the Food and Wine festival and the marathon weekend, it's because a moderately busy week.

We've been going that week for a while, it's a good time to go as the weather will likely be a little more pleasant. We do F&W during the day on weekdays and it's not bad at all. The parks are busy but far from peak crowds.:earsboy:

We`ve been there in October multiple times. We can definitely handle moderate crowds. Thanks, everyone!

We went that exact week last year. Not bad at all. We had one more MNSSHP than you will this year, so MK was crowded on HEA nights, but if you can put that toward the end of your stay, it should be a bit better than the beginning.

We have been there that week and it is very busy. It is Jersey Week, the end of F&W.
Much worse than mid October in my experience.

We will be there the first week of November. I expect it to busy.

Last year i paid close attention to jersey week trip reports and they were all over the place in regards to crowds. Some said it was Wall to Wall people and some said crowds were low. One report i read the person said crowds were lower than her late August trip. You just never know! Everybody deals with crowds different and some people just end up at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Touring plans have been lowering crowd levels for that week. Some days are level 1-3. I’m not buying it but it makes me wonder.

We must have hit the parks on the wrong days. We intentionally went to a park the day after EMH (generally supposed to be less crowded) and they were swamped with people. Not Christmas or Spring Break bad, but much busier than other weeks.

I always go that week and crowds are not bad early in the week but by wed/thurs they pick up and then fri/sat very high crowds compared to earlier in the week

I’m preparing myself for very high crowds.

This has been my experience too. We have been the past four jersey weeks, and will be there again this year as well (so even though there can be crowded days, we still think it's a good time to go). The weather is just about perfect this time of year, and the holiday decorations start to come out around then too, which is really cool. The downside is that the parks are not empty, and can get quite crowded at times (mid-afternoons, later in the week).
