How crowded does it get around the time of the Food and Wine Festival?

We just booked a week Nov. 7-14 and we were hoping to avoid the huge crowds.

I know this will be probably the last time we'll be able to do that since our daughter is only in Kindergarten next fall. After that, we'll have to take our breaks the same time as the school year.

Thanks for any info. on that week in November.

Deb

Weekends seem to be very crowded. Much easier to get around during the week.

Does the food and wine fest. run on weekends only, or 7 days a week?

In 2001, the evenings were packed. I was scared of losing my 3 kids so I made my 2 dd's ride in a single stroller together. It was very hard to manage a stroller dh, & 3 kids around hugh crowds.

We were there during the festival last year. We arrived on Oct 31 and were there through Nov 4...There were NO crowds during the day, and it seemed only a little bit crowded at night (but no worse than any other night at the World Showcase, ya know?)

During our whole trip, we could not believe that there was no one around....Not too many people were partaking of the Food and Wine activities either, also surprising.

We were there last November (first week.) It was not too crowded but on the weekends there were a lot of locals. I had a great time but did notice they were not checking ID's too strictly. I wonder if this is why we saw throw-up in the Malestrom line and the bathrooms were a MESS.

We were there in Nov 01. Now a lot of things could be in play here... crowds as a rule were down because of post 9-11. The weekends were a bit busy, and had even more of a feel of a bar crawl than usual. Things got more crowded later in the week during Jersey Week. And WS filled in the evenings as all the other parks and FW closed early. But on the whole, the crowds were not bad at all. It was a lot of fun.
