Hello! I am trying to plan our next trip to the world. Spring break is a time we have never tried. My question is: How crowded is the week before Easter? Also, how is the weather?
Thanks!::MickeyMo :sunny:

We were there this year just before Easter leaving the day after Good Friday. It was great. It was more crowded than our trip last year in August, but the weather was better. It rained more in August than in April. We only had 1 day with rain, just quick showers, warm 80's or so if I remember correctly. Crowds weren't too bad at all until the end of the week when it got a bit more crowded. I think that the week before Easter was a good time to go, at least for us. Didn't have to do a Fantasmic dinner package at that time. Easy to get PS for the places we wanted. Hope this helps a bit.

Traditionally the week leading up to Easter and the week of Easter are two of the three most crowded weeks of the year; the other is Christmas Week. For popular rides you can get sustained lines of 90 minutes to 2 1/2 hours for the entire day and night. Even the dud, Swiss Family Treehouse, can get to an hour or more. Fast passes for the popular attractions can run out for the day before noon and the waterparks often reach capacity before 11:30. It is doable but expect a larger crowd than you have ever experienced unless you have done it before.

As to weather, it tends to be ideal that time of year, 80's, not severe humidity, occassionally it gets into the 90's and sometimes you can even get a cool day in the low 70's. Thunderstorms often are limited to night hours when you are asleep.

I was at Disney Easter 2003 and didn't think the crowds were too bad at all. Again it is all reletvie, if you were at EPCOT the opening months you dont' think anything is crowded. Anyway I thought the crowds were better around Easter than they were during March spring break.

We just went this past Easter. We probably wont do it again.

The weather was wonderful. The crowds were there, but not too bad in our opinion.

We found everything aside from Disney to be a nightmare. The airlines were all overbooked and didnt care about service because there're people waiting for your seat if you get mad. We also stayed at a DD hotel, who also didnt give a hoot about service.

So if I were to do it again, I'd pay any price to stay with Disney and I would probably suck it up and drive.
