We are planning a trip April 1st to the 5th.
Was wondering just how bad the crowds were?
We went 2 years ago at about the same time (week before Easter) and we went to Seaworld 3 days in a row. It really wasn't bad. The lines. Maybe 30 minute wait. Sometimes 45 minutes. I just don't want to stand in line for 2 hours.
We went in the middle of the week last time and hit Seaworld until the weekend then got out of there and went to Fort Myers once the big crowds (Easter week) got there. So, this time we are going to US and IOA on Wednesday, April 1st and then getting out of Universal area on Sunday, April 5th.
Has anyone been there a couple days before Easter week? I know it's some states Spring Break but I think the big crowds will be there April 5th week.
I've heard Disney is really crowded the week before Easter.
I'm hoping US/IOA isn't too bad.
We are not staying onsite but at a hotel right across the street from US/IOA.

The crowds will be busier than normal but shouldn't too terribly bad. The Express passes are rather expensive during that week but not the highest priced...which give you an indication of the crowd level.

Since you are staying across the street, you should be able to get to the parks before opening and do a lot of the bigger attractions before most of the crowds arrive.
