This is the first time we are going and we are wondering what the crowds are like. We have purchased tickets for Nov 17, that being the only night they are having MCMVP during our stay. We have heard some good things about it and are looking forward to it. Thanks for your help!!

The rides were not crowded at all. We were able to walk on to almost all of the rides in Fantasyland, and DSis and hubby rode Space Mountain twice in a short time. The line for the photo at the tree is long, and you have to find your spot for the parade once you notice significant crowds on Main Street or in front of the castle. If you want to sit in either of those locations, plan to be there at least an hour beforehand. You can find spots in Liberty Square/Frontierland closer to parade time. Make sure you see Christmas Wishes. We watched from toward the end of Main Street and we were able to see everything, and it wasn't all that crowded back there. Plus, we didn't have to fight too many people to exit the park.

Have a great time. We loved MVMCP.

Crowds should be fine, still early in the season. Might be a bit more, being a Sunday, but I am sure it will be fine. It is a fun evening.

You shouldnt have a problem going so early. I've heard the closer to Christmas the more crowded the parties are. We've gone early December and have had a blast! You'll have a great time!!!!!! Christmas is so magical at Disney.

We went on the last night, Dec 20th last year. Crowds even then were very manageable. We rode tons of rides during the first parade. Was still crowded at the 2nd parade.

There just aren't that many people in the parks, but they people who are there tend to clump. So at any given monent you can be "stuck in a crowd" when the other side of the park is completly deserted.

As long as you are flexible and more around to avoid the crowd, you can have a very low crowd experience.

We went the week after Thanksgiving last year and I was thrilled to see that the crowds (which were never too bad) virtually disappeared after about 9pm --by 10 pm, we were able to ride Pirates of the Carribean 3 times in a row without getting off -- there was no line at all! Can't wait to go again in 115 days!
