Hey guys, thanks for any input on crowds and weather these days. I am celebrating my 20th birthday with my parents, and my 14 year old sisturrr :)

Staying at the fairfield inn :) :cool1::cool1::cool1:

oh and will HISTA be there? i love that show!

My family will be there during some of those days as well. We're expecting light crowds, especially during weekdays.

Weather can vary, but I'd guess it will be in the mid 60's during the day, and then get down into the 50's when the sun goes down. And then down to the 40's overnight. We're hoping for no rain, but we've been there in the rain before and it's really not too bad as long as you have the proper clothing. It's southern California, so it's not going to rain for long. Plus, it clears a lot of the crowds out too. I'd advise checking several weather forecasts online as your trip approaches so you can be prepared.

Have a good trip. Only two weeks away!

I expect it will be pretty dead even on the weekends

Oh, and I'm not sure about HISTA. They recently announced that Captain EO will officially be returning to that theater in February, but I didn't see HISTA on the closures list on the official DL site last time I looked. So who knows? :confused3

Disney had said that HISTA would be closing in the next few weeks, maybe two weeks ago. Another site said it would close in January. If it IS running on your trip, I'd definitely do it first thing, because there's no guarantee it will be open at all, let alone at the end of your trip.

Crowds should be nice and small though!

bumping this for more replies! haha :)

3 days!!

Honestly... I'd expect it to be pretty busy... Over 100,000 people will be down for the National Championship Game between Texas and Alabama. The game is on Thursday the 7th. I doubt people will jet home right after that. I'd expect them to stick around SoCal through Sunday. So Friday will be busy with happy Alabama fans and sad Texas fans, Saturday and Sunday will have all the local AP holders that were smart enough to stay away this past weekend. The 11th will be slow but it will get busier as it nears the 13th because people will be filing in for the NAMM show that starts on the 14th. But that's just a guess on my part.... :confused3 Ya never know what could happen!

but will the crowds be less than summer? i hope so, cuz summer is when iusually go!
