Crowds and Heat Right Now?

Can someone who is at the parks this week (the week of Memorial Day) comment on how crowded the parks are and what the temperature is? I'm still trying to decide between Spring Break (mid-March) and late May/early June for next year. Thanks!

It wa brutally hot to me. the crowds werent too terribly bad....I've seen a lot worse at Easter, etc...

We only went in the morning til about 1 or 2 and didn't go back at night, so i dont know how it was then. We were there Friday (which was awesome, no crowds at all) , Saturday, and Sunday. Saturday and sunday were much more crowded and VERY HOT!

I just got back yesterday too. It was hot... crowds were not too bad.. most of the stand by lines were from 10 to 35 mins. nights with fireworks at the MK were busy... Epcot was busier than mid december, but that's to be expected. Water parks were packed. I wou ld assume Locals did that.. Lots of school trips in the theme parks.

From May 17th to the Friday of Memorial Day weekend the crowds were not bad. On the MDW the crowds were bad, all fast passes at MK were gone by 2:30-3:00pm Saturday and standby wait times were 45-60 mins+.

We didn't find the water parks to be too bad during the week.

When we got there on the 17th the temp was close to 100F. It cooled off during the week to low 90's high 80's. There were scattered thunder storms all week and a pretty heavy rain on Friday. Fantasmic was canceled one night due to T-storms. Pack your ponchos!

We were told by locals that this kind of weather was coming early this year and usually occurs during July - August.

I think early May is a better time to go. Thats when we usually go but this year we had to postpone to latter in May due to school testing.

Avoid Memorial Day weekend!!!!!!
