My Mom and I are going to WDW Oct. 3-8. We have the MK penciled in to go to on Sunday the 5th. After looking at Deb's site, I see that MNSSHP is scheduled for that evening. Does anyone know if the crowds will be heavier than usual at the MK that day? Should we plan on flip-flopping our days- AK on Sunday and MK on Monday? I know that EE is Sunday at the MK, and EE is Monday at the AK- EE worked out well for us on our March trip, so that's why we planned to go to those parks on those days. Of course we could always park hop if the crowds get heavy. Unfortunately, we only have 4 days to see the parks this time, so I was going to do this:

Friday- arrive, DtD for dinner, shopping
Sat- Epcot in AM; MGM to see Fantasmic in PM
Sun- MK- CRT for lunch
Mon- AK, Cape May Cafe for dinner
Tues- MGM, go to Epcot in evening for dinner, Illuminations
Wed- head home

Thanks for any input!

October is usually pretty quiet. There are some conventions but not enough to make the parks feel crowded. We have gone down that last three years in october and will be doing the same this year. You will have a great time at the event that night. Disney does a great job at making the night spectacular. I won't give anything away. Have a great trip...

We went to WDW last Oct, and found the crowds bearable EXCEPT for MK on a Sat night(that was terrible). Is the Halloween party more or less crowded than a typical Oct day? I would pick the 10/26(Sun) to avoid the crowds as much as possible(can you tell I don't like crowds?). I just don't want to spend even MORE $$ on tickets and then find I have to stand in line the whole time, or have to line up for the parade 2 hours ahead of time.:bounce:
