Crowds after Labor Day

Hi all...we'll be visiting Universal Orlando, both parks, just after Labor Day. We arrive on Sept. 7. Just wondering what the crowds will be like at that time of year? Not referring to WWoHP...I know it'll be crowded no matter what. I'm referring to the other rides. I attempted to buy Express Plus passes today but no availability was shown, unless I was doing something wrong. This worries me. Last two times we visited we had these passes and they were life savers. Any advice?

After the holiday weekend the crowds should drop noticeably. I doubt you would need the EP in early September. If you wait until you arrive and see what the lines are like, then you can purchase the EP in either park. I wouldn't purchase it ahead of time though.
