New to Universal Studios, could anyone indicate how croweded it is during the 1st & 2nd week of March ?

How are the waits, do they have a fastpass system like WDW?

Bumping as I would like to hear the answer too! We did it in 2008 on this week and the lines were Non-existent!! We were so worried that we did not have FOTL passes and in fact, never waited more than 10 minutes for anything! Considering including it this year in our plans.

Historically...early March is slow but the two best "rules of thumb" to gauge crowds is to look at the park hours and Express pass cost for the time you're interested in going. The park hours from 3/1 until 3/9 are 9-6 but on 3/10 the hours start to get longer.

The Express system at Universal is different than Disney's as you have to pay for the passes and the passes are only good for one time through each participating attraction. The cost of the EP can also gauge what size crowd is expected...Express prices are not available for March as of right now so that won't help.

You can however purchase the VIP Express tickets which include your park admission AND unlimited Express access...onsite guests also receive unlimited Express access for the duration of their stay.

Check back to see if the Express pass cost for March has been updated.
