DH and I have a trip booked for December 1-8. I thought it was a low season but in reading some of these posts it sounds like there will be alot more people than I anticipated. Can anyone who has been there at that time give me their advice? I usually follow the unofficial book's plan but thought we could be less rigid this time because there would not be as many people.

What do you think?

We've been going that week for years. It always was the low season however, in the past few years it has become more and more busy. So, it is more crowded then it use to be that week however, still can be managed. We went for the first time in September in 2005. We walked on everything. My DH made the comment like, don't you remember when Dec was like this. Pop Warner is in the time frame also. If you've never gone this time of year go because it's so awesome to see all the christmas decorations. Again, it's not like summer, christmas or easter crowds. But it can be busy that time of year. Hope that helped a little.

I was there last year, the first week of Dec. We stuck to the Unofficial Guide best park suggestions and usually just walked onto everything (except Soarin'), one day we ignored the UG best park and went to the worst park...it was wall to wall people...so we decided to hop over to the magic Kingdom that day...and again, just walked on to any and every ride with little to no wait. It is a great time to go. And the decorations are beautiful.
